Virginie Castaway ‘Jackpot’ leather shorts (last seen here), blouse from JJ Markets, Oxford boyfriend knit and suede heels, vintage bag, Saba straw hat, Zara belt, Rumour bracelets.
Some things in life deserve a revisit.
Not only am I bringing out the leather shorts once again (my apologies for the future instances to come – spring has arrived Down Under and so has Bare Legs Syndrome), I’m also giving some other things a rerun.
This is actually the second time I’ve stood outside this blue blue house in Balmain for photos. It was so eye catching the first time we drove past that I was adamant I needed token photos in front of it. Unfortunately the five seconds we spent on the last occasion produced some very shonky photos so the Boy surprised me with a revisit the other day. Internally I’m always afraid the occupiers of the premises will come out yielding profanities (or if Asian, chopsticks) at me. We’ve been lucky enough in the course of our adventures not to have been met with such verbal violence but it may still be wise to take out an insurance policy just in case. Blogging can be a dangerous business after all.
At the crack of dawn tomorrow morning, we’re off to Melbourne for some pre-birthday celebrations. This is actually my third birthday ‘thing’ to take place in Melbourne in the last five years so one could say that I’m fond of the place. The other occasions have been celebrated in the beautiful Aix-en-Provence in the South of France and last year, we hosted an intimate dinner in a historical mansion, which looking back, was pretty unreal.
Looking forward to the weekend ahead, I envision lots of merry frolicking and skipping around the Yarra like a possessed person, as per usual. And maybe, just maybe some shopping if I get into the jolly spirit enough.
Now, off to yum cha for the Father’s Day celebrations I’ll be missing on the weekend, and then to pack!
Have a good ones guys.
