Bariano Black silk dress, Topshop vest, Zara belt, Urban Soul suede heels
By Golly, does it feel like it’s been a long time! Since the last post where I delighted in baking golden creations, I’ve quit my job, taken a breather, spent 3 weeks in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City and had a brief fling with Melbourne. As of two weeks ago, I’ve been back home in Sydney.
It’s been a bit of an adventure and while it’s nice to be back, the last couple of weeks since my return have been difficult. Hopefully, step by step, I’ll be able to make inroads into crafting together that life I really want. In this regard, I’m extremely uncompromising. It’s by no means easy but remains, as always, of primary importance.
I’ve been somewhat affected by my time overseas, so much that in all likelihood I will probably dedicate some future posts on the musings which were aroused. I should have probably captured the thoughts while they were still fresh in time but it is too late and I hope my recollections will do justice to the things which I observed.
For the time being however, I will soldier on. The above vest is probably the closest thing I have to khaki so the outfit is, in a strange way, quite fitting with the resolve.
